I miss my fur babies that have crossed over everyday … and think about them all the time … they\’ll always be in my heart – however we now currently have 2 very active dogs that keep us on our toes! We had Anubis when my little Bella passed away and shortly after that we adopted Birdie. We are nuts and life is currently crazy!!

awww … how sweet πŸ™‚ I lost my little girl on Aug 8 – writing memories, feelings and emotions helped me a lot – I also ordered the book Griffin’s heart – it’s a book of stories as well as places to journal, paste photos and read stories about other people feeling the same way you do.     are the cats used to being on a leash?
    when we moved from NM to FL my BIL and SIL adopted our last cat from us – they live in Seattle – I got some calming meds from the vet for the airplane ride – IMHO I would think that the cats would be more comfortable just staying in the car … but none of my cats went outside, nor were they trained to walk on a leash. Best of luck!

We have disposable litter boxes, food and water, as well as calming spray. We plan to stop at rest stops and let our cats out on harnesses and leashes.       I am so sorry to hear about the lose of your precious fur babies – I’ve lost several around the same time – within a few year time span- because we adopted them all around the same age – we knew 10-15 years down the road they would all start to pass away…
      Happy to hear that you’re helping your heart heal but adopting again – a new one never replaces but helps the heart to heal.
      I lost a little girl and have been using the book Griffin’s heart- it helps to read the stories as well as journal feelings down … wishing you much peace! hugs, Terrilynn

        This is Jonas (golden who passed 9/30/19 at 12 YO, spleen cancer), Nick (black lab who passed at just barely 13 YO, 9/14/20 bone cancer) and my Gizmo (shihpoo who passed at 13 YO, 8/3/21 ran over). I barely got over Jo and Nick died. I wasn\'t over Nick and God ripped my lil man Giz from me in the most tragic accident. We have since rescued 3 more pups but my heart is broken. I never was able to say goodbye to Giz because of head trauma but his heart stopped beating as I held him. I will never be the same💔

        We now have a new boxer puppy named Ace. He’s 18 weeks old. He will never replace Spike or our other pets, but is a great new addition to our family and very loved.

My mama cat does not want to eat and is becoming very thin.Yes,I feed her twice a day. Her quality of life is declining.                   Thank you so much! I appreciate the love! I am having a very hard time … I look “ok” on the outside but inside my head, I’m screaming! and I’m very disappointed that my family (other than my husband) doesn’t seem to understand my grief πŸ™ I feel very alone in this journey … my husband tries to do what he can …but he can only do so much … but I’m still getting out of bed and trying to accomplish what I can … I still have one fur baby, Anubis – and Thank the Lord for him! He’s 3 and has been a life savor – so I am trying to focus on him (Anubis) … and trying to appreciate all the wonderful memories my precious little girl (Bella) gave me … today is also the 3rd year anniversary of another one of my fur babies passing (Isaac) – when my dad passed away almost 4 years ago my fur babies were my saving grace – I honestly don’t know where I’d be if it weren’t for them – and I have human sons as well! I love my sons, they are a blessing but there’s a special bond between my fur babies and I … Thank you again for your kind words! You have no idea how much it means to me!

                    HI Dawn, I am so sorry for your loss … One of my soul dogs, Isaac, also passed away in his sleep – while it was shocking and difficult, I believe that it was a “gift” from God as He knew that I would never be able to say goodbye to Isaac. I’ve had to let so many of my special fur babies go, and making that decision is so hard – the amount of pain of loosing them is awful, then to have to make THAT decision to say good bye just makes it that much more difficult. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
