I lost my precious Bandit on April 11 of this year. I am having a hard time dealing with her passing. She was 16, had diabetes, thyroid problems, a mass in her chest,a heart murmur, and an enlarged bowel. I tried everything to save her. View

Oh Beverly, our pets count on us, trust us, to do what’s best for them, not us. Sometimes what’s best is to help them to a peaceful passing. Most of us here have had to make the difficult decision of when it time to stop, and grant them comfort. I’ve done it three times this past 1 1/2 years and it’s always awful, but good, knowing they aren’t suffering anymore. An enlarged bowel could have ruptured causing Bandit extreme agony. It’s good you didn’t let that happen, don’t you think? (Walter had a mass on his intestines and bowels and that was the main reason I let him go – so it wouldn’t rupture). You know you did everything you could, always in Bnadit’s best interest. Now you have to crawl through the deep pain of parting to get to a point of finding smiles before tears with his memories. I hope you’ll join us Thursday to talk about Bandit. (Under “Events). 💔🤗Toni
