Linda, you and your husband are angels for rescuing those poor little girls. Ellee’s unexpected passing is shocking and didn’t give you, your husband nor Karlee a chance to prepare. Karlee probably smells Ellee’s scent and is puzzled about her whereabouts. When we have a chance to anticipate and prepare for death, our other pets know what’s happening, and saying goodbye at home with them helps them say process, but Karlee didn’t have that experience. I am so sorry and hope you ALL find comfort in one another. In a way, it was nice for Ellee to not have suffered a lingering illness or injury, and dying in her beloved Daddy’s arms had to bring her comfort. Linda, please believe me that I am not trying to ‘sell’ you something, but a very loving gift for your husband would be one of our hand-painted ornaments of Ellee, or our throw with a picture of the two sisters woven into it. I really don’t want to sound ‘salesy’, but either of those would be meaningful memorials for Ellee if you think that would be nice. Of course the best gift is having your love and support, and I am sure he and Karlee are helping lift you. Linda, please let us know how you are coming along, give Karlee a pet from me, and thank you for rescuing pets in need. Here is a HUG for you. Toni

It is! It’s soft, and a fabulous quality. April took a photo of Lilly the dog and rendered her artistic interpretation to create that image, then I had it put on the throw. (It’s all in our SHOP if you want one of your pet/s). But, don’t you think my cat is adorable, too? 🙂

Our groomer fired us 🤦 any tips for a dog who doesn’t like his legs being groomed??

Cody, didn’t you tell us Benny had a cancerous spot removed from a paw a few months ago? Maybe that’s why he doesn’t like to be touched there. Are his legs thin, like a greyhound’s? Greyhounds are aware of the fragility of their legs and stiffen them when picked up, so maybe Benny is sensitive to having his legs touched. You can use our “Find Services” tab to locate a groomer in your area. I would tell them about your experience and his legs. Let us know what happens, please. Also, any new pictures to share with us?

Susan, When you think of Chanella now, do you have more smiles than tears? Every loss hurts in a different way and some are harder than others. Take your time with it, and let us know how you are doing.

Hi Toni!! Yesterday was 15 months since Chanella tragically passed.. Most days are very hard, the guilt is overwhelming..
