Today is a very depressing day, but I can close my eyes and see Angel doing her happy dance, her big bushy tail wagging so hard, and her running with such exuberance in circles around me, but I do so miss her. I do have three girls, and I love them to pieces but Angel was definitely my soul dog. I noticed my 18 month old Golden Retriever doing circles in her excitement the other day, something Angel did once in a while, although she was more prone to do a happy dance, her paws dancing out her joy. I will be ok, just trying to work through the depression of her being gone. Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate them.

Yes I agree, and Evangelina is good a loving and shaking her little stubby Rottie tail which shakes her entire body. She is very loving to me, but also thinks I am suppose to share all my food and snacks with her, but she has learned when I tell her it is not good for her to stop trying to get me to give her something. She knows that chocolate is something she can not have, and several other items, so she now just lays down and does not beg for them. She does have a big obsession with Vanilla Wafers and I have to watch or she would steal the entire package and eat it all. Not sure what it is about them but she thinks I hung the moon and stars if I give her some vanilla wafers.

Evangelina is doing fine, and hopefully going to be welcoming a part Husky, part German Shepherd into our home in January. I know how hard it is for you after going through all the things with my Angel, and I know she is better off out of her pain, but she is irreplaceable. Evangelina needs a buddie, as she missed Angel and Gabriel also. I will be training this pup for mobility service work also like Angel was trained for, but know no matter what Angel will always have my heart, I just have to add heart space for this little one, Evangelina has tried to fill the void and is so sweet and loving, just not apt for service work.

Tomorrow will be a year since my Angel left me. I still miss her as much as if it were yesterday. There is no way to stop missing my best friend, loyal loving companion. Nothing fills the gap she left in my heart.

Hi Toni, Angel had a stroke about 5 months prior to Dec 15. It went from bad to worse as she then started having violent seizures which caused her ability to walk, caused her to lose her sight. I had her on homeopathic belladonna right after the first seizures, and for a little while it seemed to straighten her out some before she took a nose dive and lost her sight. I had to decide what was best for her, and I just could not see my beautiful, vibrant Angel girl suffering anymore from the seizures, so confused because she could not see, unable to get around without my help, and she was not only my best friend, and my mobility service dog, she was the VERY beat of my heart. Her and Gabriel had never been apart from the time he was 4 months old and she was 6 weeks, so he lost all will to live without her, and the night he passed, I had been cuddling him on my bed, he wanted down, acted like he wanted to potty and he could use the potty pads, so I put him In the floor which he…

Oh how I miss my precious Angel, and her and my little buddy Gabriel that followed her 4 days later. Angel was the best of my heart and Gabriel my clown and trouble instigator that could turn a frown into a day of laughter.
