Oh my dawg, Chuck!! I am not making this up – I was thinking of you and Dixie yesterday (remember when you painted her nails pink?). Wow, has she grown up🤗What a beauty. Still a lap dog, I see😎 I can’t believe it’s been 3 1/2 years. If you can, please hop on our group meeting with Dixie so we can say hi. Carla, This is a sad, and a good, story. I agree it was good for Slingo that she passed quickly, but what a shock for you💔I am so very sorry for your loss and grateful for the care Slingo received, and the kindness that was extended to you. I hope you will join our group this month to tell us more about your life with Slingo and about what happened. Our group meetings are open to everyone, are free, and are not only about loss and grieving to help comfort and heal – we also share the joys of opening our homes and hearts to new loves, and would love to meet yours🤗Meetings are the third Thursday of each month at 7PM Eastern and you can stay as long as you like. You will meet, and make friends with, kind, caring people who also love pets. The link to meetings is under “Events” on the right side of the Community page. How nice of you, Brony, and thank you🤗As you may recall, I was just fostering Mac and his siblings when his brother and sister had the deadly Panleukopenia and were dying. Mac survived and the rest is history! My accidental cats😎 Speaking of which …. Yipee🎉Frankie is YOUR “accidental” cat but the cativerse sends them our way and for good reason. Absolutely get her a friend – they will always have each other to play with, sleep with, and communicate as only they can. I am just delighted for you both❤️Your heart was empty and now is filling up again and that is the best way to live our lives and honor those we have lost. PLEASE introduce Frankie to us at this months meeting coming up this Thursday, July 18th at 7PM Eastern. We love to meet everyone and I am so excited. 🙌🙌She is darling and lucky to have you and your friend who rescued her. Just wonderful❤️❤️🎉❤️❤️ -

It means a lot and I am so grateful we have you as a friend💕Well, the summer heat is certainly cranked up and I can tell Mac and Roni are aware because they are sleeping through most of the day. Yikes! I hear Death Valley may hit 130 next week! We’ve already hit 100 in Denver, which is unusual. I feel so bad for the animals who are suffering😒
