I adopted smokey from a local animal shelter. He was 7-8 yrs of age and came from a hoarding/cruelty case. I only got to spend 4 yrs with him until he passed away two weeks ago. He was the most loving cat I’ve had and was always by my side. I miss him tremendously and didnt get to say goodbye so it’s hard
I’m sorry you only had four years together – I’ve been with mine just over four years and couldn’t love her more, so I understand. Weren’t you both lucky to have each other.
