Trudy, is this Thaddeus? What a handsome fellow. I am so very sorry for your parting. How old was Thaddeus? How did you meet? How did you discover the mass in his spleen? Thanks Toni, yes this is the boy. Adopted him at 7 months from Good Karma Rescue . No one was interested in him because they listed him as Rottie/Lab. DNA test later showed he was German Shepard/ Boxer. He was not eating so took him in, they took X-rays and called me in to review. It was huge. Vet said sooner than later cause I did not want it to rupture. 2 days later a traveling vet came to his house.it was very peaceful.Aug 27th

The hardest, most selfless and kind thing you could do was grant him a peaceful passing at home. It still takes healing and passing through the grief for you, but he didn’t have to needlessly suffer, for which you can take comfort. When, and if, you feel like telling us the symptoms that led you to the Vet, we appreciate knowing. And if you want to share more pictures and stories with us, we love to see them.
