What a sweetie. I am so sorry you had to say goodbye, Kaitlynn, but it looks as if Carly Mae enjoyed a wonderful life of love with you. It’s what we hope for – love, fun, joy, and spoiling of course. They’re only “on loan” to us and never for long enough. Was she older when she passed? How did you meet her? Are you moving through your grief okay? Can you smile with your memories? We’re thinking of you. {{HUGS}} Toni -

Aimee, thank you for these pictures of Bella. Go to the Memorials tab and you’ll see my Beauty Girl – she and Bella look like sisters! BG was 18 when she died last year and it was best for her to go as she was very unwell, but boy did it hurt to lose her. Now I smile with her memories, and cry a bit sometimes too. The most loving, generous gift we can give our beloved pets is a life of love and respite at the end. Inour heads we know this, but our hearts break. Aimee, how long were you and Bella together? Please tell us about your lives together. And let us know how you are doing. {{HUGS}} Toni -

I am glad to hear you are holding up, as long as you aren’t withholdng your feelings, Eugene. The conflict between knowing Beth was failing and helping her find peace, and now living without her beside you, is painful and you are in the right place to express any of your feelings. We sure undertsand. Share with us anytime, and when Beth comes home, we’d like to know how you do. Hopefully that will make you feel better, having her with you. We’re thinking of you. {HUG} -

Vicki, I am so very, very sorry and it is understandable that you can’t breathe. The air isn’t the same. Nothing is. Tell us about your Bella, and your lives together. How and when did you meet? What kind of pet was Bella? Anything you’d like to share, we’d like to hear. Do you have another pet you can love on and hold? A stuffed toy? A blanket? I found that helpful in the first days and hope you have something to hold on to right now. We’re here for you so talk to us, Vicki. 💔 -

Oh Kyle, a week is not long and you must be very sad, the house feels quiet and empty, and we understand how hard this is. But, she was 15 years old and that is a wonderful lifetime for Presley. Too short a time for what we want, but how lovely for you both to have had the time together. I found a stuffed animal to cuddle and talk to helped me. What are you doing to find smiles before your tears? -

Heather, what a doll he was. All the pictures of him sleeping or resting and it makes me think he must have been a pretty active doggie. Was he? I believe animals are brought to us when we need them, and it’s not always when we think we want another pet. Happens to me all the time. So I am very happy you and your husband think of your time with Brutis as a lovely, loving gift that will fill you with joy always. No, they are never with us as long as we want, but you are with them always. Please stay active in our community, sharing with us how you are doing, and lend your own sympathy to others who are missing beloved pets. It means so much to have our caring community support one another. Thank you for sharing Brutis with us. {HUGS} Toni -

Brutis was a red nose pitbull. He was my baby my husband and I tried for 17 years to have a kid. And brutis just came at the right time and brought us out of a dark place. Iam doing okay just wish he was still by my side. I will be better once I have his remains home with me.

Heather I’m so sorry for your loss. He was a beautiful baby. I too had a pitbull named Penny and she has been gone two weeks and I cry every day. She was my everything.
