I may have to make the decision no pet parent wants to make.

I know, Dianne. My cats’ progressive internal disease may have become cancer and I can have her biopsied under anesthesia, and if it’s cancer, start chemo pills, but with her failing kidneys, which chemo can worsen, and other health challenges (slight anemia (which chemo can also worsen), high blood pressure and thyroid, I won’t put her through either the procedure nor the chemo. She’s in good spirits and seemingly no pain, so we’ll go for as long as she’s “feline fine”, then it will be time to say goodbye. If she was younger, not almost 18, of course it would be different. George is 14 and, sorry to say, is also considered “senior” in the cat world. I know everyone in our community is with you and here for you. Maybe George will start to feel better soon. I hope so ๐
