My Bessie’s birthday would have been on June 4th and she would have been 16 years old.My heart has a big piece that went with her when she went to the Bridge.I always think of her and will always love and miss her

Dianne, yes, of course you will. Birthdays and anniversaries always stir up our thoughts and memories more than usual. Last night a human friend of mine died at 36 and, while it doesn’t help when I think of my old (17 year old) cat failing, it DOES give me perspective on the life cycle, how none of us know how much time we get, and to embrace life and joy while we can. Bessie most definitely loved, and loves you, too, and wants you to keep her always in your heart while you allow yourself happiness in her memory. Let us know how you are doing, Dianne.
