Hello, I lost my sweet Jake August 12, 2024. He had just turned 14 on the 5th of August… He was a rescue at 7 months. I do sorely miss him with all my heart. He was registered as an emotional support dog, so he went everywhere with me. It has been heart breaking.-
Dovie, Jake was so adorable and I am so very sad and sorry that you had to say goodbye to your dearest friend💔It IS heartbreaking to part, even though in our heads we know our pets are only “on loan” to us (never for long enough -forever wouldn’t be long enough). What a great life of love and fun you shared with Jake, saving him as a rescue. He could have had a very different life without you and your care. Dovie, may I encourage you to think of the many times you and Jake enjoyed? I hope you find some comfort in your memories. If he could write you a note, what do you think he would want you to know? I suspect Jake would send you his gratitude and LOVE, do you think? Please share more with us, and know we understand the pain, and the joys. I am sending you a heartfelt {{HUG}}. Toni
