I am so sorry for your loss! He was so adorable! I lost six beloved pets throughout the years, and still grieve to this day! I recently lost my beloved Hope this past March to heart and breathing problems. What made it worse was that it was totally unexpected! She died after I took her home from a vet visit. I think of her every day, and miss her very much!

Donna, These dates are markers for our losses and it is understandable that your feelings well up even more. What happened to darling Beta? Can you tell us about it? I am terribly sad for you and hope you find joy in his memory beginning to outweigh your sorrow.

Yes I will tell you exactly what happened to my beloved Beta. He was having trouble breathing so rushed him to the vet. They said he was in heart failure but with the meds they prescribed he would recover & they wanted to see him back in 2 weeks. We brought him home & gave him the meds & an he after after taking them he lost his mobility. Then 3 hrs after the meds he was dead. He died on my chest. He was only 8 lbs. I was told by my physician that the meds that the vet prescribed was too much for his body & caused him to have a heart attack. They took something from me that wasn’t theirs to take & that was my baby. So you see I am hurting as he should still be here with me . .
