What a cool name – Castiel. What does it mean? What kind of pet?

He is a gray tabby cat. He is named Castiel for a character in my older daughter’s favorite show, Supernatural. Castiel is an angel.-
I used to watch Supernatural! That’s a great name, and meaning.
