Hello all, sorry I haven’t responded in awhile, but I have been struggling with the loss of my June… I miss her so much…

    • Please come to our meeting this Thursday July 20th, Christina. I think it will be good for you to talk about June with us. Link is under “Events” Toni
      • Hi Christina, I am so sorry for your loss of June 💔 I know how hard it is to lose our fur baby. I am still struggling over the loss of my Romeo even though it’s been 6 months. Life is so painful and sad without them. Take care.
        Sending you comforting hugs 💔
        • Sorry I didn’t make the meeting, had a bad migraine. Thank you for your kind words…every now and then I see my June on the couch or our bed. I believe she is here…
          • June sure was a cutie, Christina, and she will always be with you in many ways, especially after sharing 20 wonderful years together. It just hasn’t been very long since you parted and the pain of parting is still raw. But do you find you are able to have more and more happy, good memories each day? Ouch – migraines. That is so tough and I am so sorry you suffer those. Have you tried Botox? I know a few people who benefit, and some who don’t. Worth a try? We meet online each month and perhaps you can join us August 17rh. I think you will find comfort and encouragement with our very kind and understanding group. Christina, please continue to keep us in your loop. We are here for you. Toni
            • Thank you for understanding, I do go for Botox treatments every 3 months. They have cut my migraines a lot. My June use to sleep with me and stay woo me when I had a migraine. She was beautiful kitty…
              • You are fortunate to fund some relief from the treatments, Christina. Migraines are brutal. June knew when you were unwell, when you were happy, and that you loved her back. That’s a huge hole left in your life and heart. I hope you can add one happy, fun or funny memory to your thoughts each day until you are finding smiles before your tears with her memories. We’ll walk that path with you. Toni
