Our two standards are: Michael Franti and Spearhead’s “Say Hey I Love You” and our original – ‘The Fanny & the Belly” best sung while simultaneously scratching the fanny and rubbing the belly. Tell us – what do you sing to/with your furry faithful friends?

Twenty year is such a gift. June went through so many moments, big and small, with you. A huge part of your life, I know. I had a cat, Squirt, for 19 years and she went through everything with me. I still miss her but she’s been gone a long time and my memories are joyful, with just a twinge of sad. How long has June been gone? Would sharing pictures make you feel better? I’d love to see her and hear about her. I’m thinking of you.-
Her name was precious a long haired chihuahua. I will try to share some pics

Yes, that’s what I think – holidays bring up memories, and maybe that’s part of the season. I hope your good memories are stronger than your sadness, and that you are doing well. Keep us posted, and if you have, or get, new furry faithful friends, let us share your joy with them, too. -

Brenda, that is quite a lot of loss in a short time. No wonder you miss them. Were they all the same breed? I think the holidays make it even harder ….-
Walter was a Boston and Summer was a pug. They were beasties. Every day is hard without them

Hi Toni, I am doing okay. Yes, I am a vet tech. Love my job and my 4 legged babies and their owners. Black-tie was my pet since I was a teenager. Blackie passed away in a fire with my mom. Chloe was a patient who I love Sooooooo much. She passed away from cancer. At work I have seen patients coming in as puppies and watching them grow to senior patients.

It would be so kind and important and very much appreciated. ToniSunny my parakeet just passed away and his mate sunshine keeps calling for him and I don’t know what to do, I want to get her a new mate but I don’t know if that would upset her more or if she would accept him or not. Any advice will help.this is sunshine.

I foster cats who need medical care! That’s how I met and adopted my toothless, old black cat (I call her Cat, Beauty girl, Sweetheart – anything but her given name) and it is so rewarding to foster and help them find new forever homes.
