Celebrate 5 years, 8 months agoA Cacophony of Cat and Crow Christmas Caroling!
It’s a warm day here. Crows are cawing, so the cat and I went outside to join them and I was treated to a cat & crow Christmas caroling. It was lovey to hear the harmonization among them. I hope we all find harmony amongst ourselves, and that everyone has a good holiday. -

Oh Jim, I apologize. I’m so sorry about Peanut – I thought I saw your post in the Celebrate pages where we celebrate our pets who are still with us. How nice of you to volunteer and adopt. That’s how I fell in love with my old, black, toothless, Beauty who will be 17 in March. I brought her home to Foster her to health after my shelter had to extract all but one of her teeth, and we just couldn’t part. She’s okay, but has internal inflammation, some recent kidney disease is showing up, and her thyroid is off. You and Chewie do look a bit alike – it’s the blonde hair :-).
We like to support shelters and rescues, and invite yours to contact me to see how we can promote what you all do. I hope you are doing okay this holiday season. And I look forward to having you participate more with our community. Toni -

Oh Debbie – you are welcome, but I mean it – he looks like the color of tofu. I like to eat tofu…..rarely…but sometimes. But what a cute name that fits him. How is he doing? What is he doing? Winter is tough – no bugs to chase, or whatever he is in to 🙂

@karlacaswell Karla, I am sorry for your loss of Bachman and Ladybug. What kind of pets were they? Did they live together with you, or at different times? Are you doing alright? How can we help? Toni

Yes they lived with me at the same time. Bachman passed before ladybug they where my babies I have one son. But they where my frist 2 kids before him

@jpgar Hello Jim and Peanut…they say we look like our pets and I believe I see the resemblance – you are both blonde! he dog in the picture is my present one and his name is Chewie. I got him the same week that Peanut had passed. Peanut was 10 years onld when he passed, he had a cancerous tumor in his stomach. I had him for 8 years, got him when he was 2. Him and his sister were at the shelter I volunteered at. His sister got adopted and he was left behind. His time was running out so I adopted him. I still miss him. But, now I have Chewie, he is turning 10 next month .

Orion was a mix breed dog. I adopted him at 8 weeks old. I had to have him put to sleep at 14 years of age.

I’m not sure how to send you pictures of Orion and Cowboy. Cowboy was a cat. He had him from birth. He lived to 15 years old.

To all Faithful Friends community members:
I try to personally reach out to everyone individually, but if I haven’t yet, I will try. I ask each of you to send your sympathies and support to other members who are remembering and paying tribute to our beloved pets. We’re building a safe place to seek or lend support, and it means so much to hear from a fellow pet member.
We also celebrate the pets with whom we get to enjoy this holiday season, and I wish every one a healthy, safe and love-filled season.
