@akk513 Hello Kristen. I am sorry for your loss of Princess and hope you are doing okay – are you? If you would tell us about her and show us some pictures, that would be lovely. Please let us know how you are, and how we can support you. Toni

@linda412 Linda, How are you doing? Okay, I hope. I’m sorry for your losses of Bandit and Sasha. Please tell us about them. Toni

    • Bandit was very hiper he just couldn’t stay still my husband and I luved him we only had him when he was 11 months old it was on Memorial Day when I went to my step sons house to get something cause we was putting a new floor down in our laundry room and all of a sudden I heard this big yipe from him and when I turned around he was cut from his underarm down almost to his tummy and that’s when I found out that he was bleeding eternally so basically he was dieing in front of me. Now with Sasha I got her for free and she was a wonderful dog that luvs to ride and luvs to have her back side scratched all the time plus she luved to play in our pond. Then one year after I got off from work I got a phone call from my husband to tell me to hurry home cause something happened to Sasha so when I got home I found out that she couldn’t lay down cause my dad and my husband told me that she broke her back real bad so I told my husband that he had to put her down which means he had to shoot her cause we didn’t had the money to take her to the vet.i really do miss them both but there was one more dog that I didnt put down was my first dog name Angel. She was the first dog that I have ever owned and she was really sweet but if someone ever try’s to hit me she would go after them but other then that she was a very sweet dog so back in 2008 I had to put her down too cause she hurt her hip some how so that next year she started having problems with her hip where she couldn’t hardly get up the stairs jump on the couch or jump on the bed so we had to put her down cause at that time we didnt have any money to take her to the vet either so I had my other step son to put her down but good thing about Angel and Sasha is that I can go to their grave anytime I like but with Bandit he’s buried at my first step sons house.
        • Linda, your stories are very moving and there may be resources in your area to help with the costs of pet care. You can start by using our “Finding Services”, enter your zip code, and use the drop-down menu to find veterinarians and other providers, many of whom have funds available to help pay for essential care. Nationally, we are working with Waggle.com and will be providing more information about their fine organization soon. It’s lovely of you to care for and about your pets, and we will be thinking of you. Stay in touch.
            • Thank u and I will I miss all three of them Angel my first dog I think I miss the most cause she was my first pet that I actually owned

@shadow420 Hi Andrea. I am sorry for your loss of Smokey. How did Smokey get that name – grey in color? What kind of pet? How are you?

Welcome to 2021 everyone. Let\’s hope it\’s a nicer, kinder and better year. Here\’s my Beauty Girl. She still can\’t see, which is how I got this picture because she doesn\’t like being in the limelight ๐Ÿ˜‰ , but hopefully her vision will be restored when we get her blood pressure down. I\’ve been a bit missing here in the community the past few days as we navigate this new, sightless, world together, and I think it\’s so wonderful that all of us are engaging with one another to support, sympathize, and yes, celebrate. When I ask how you are doing, I really want to know, not just at that moment, but as time goes by. Losing a beloved pet is a process of healing, so please share how you are coping, and healing, with us. With Best Wishes for this New Year, Toni and my Cat.

Hi everyone. I am sorry I haven’t been able to communicate with each of you today but I’ve been tending my girl. She’s still blind but hopefully by tomorrow night or the next day, if the blood pressure medicine kicks in, her vision will be restored. She never complains, knows where her litter box is, and seems to be in good spirits. I hope we all enjoy a happier, safer, less terrifying 2021. Be careful, mindful, and always ….kind and loving. Toni

By “stupid” I mean deadly and scary, of course. One thing that’s happened is we are home bonding with our pets more than usual. There may be separation anxiety on both parts when things go back to normal.

Timmy is very cute. How is Jazzy doing without him? How are making it through the holidays and this stupid virus?

                  • Actually this is our other cat Jazzy. She was Timmys (cat) best friend! I will post a pic of Timmy

@anniep325 Ann, I am so sorry for your losses of Misty and Leo. Please, tell us about them and share pictures if you will. I’m anticipating my own loss of my elderly cat, and know how hard it is to let them go, but how wonderful to have had them in our lives. Please – let us know how you are doing, and if you can, and want to, reach out to others here with your own words of support. We’re thinking of you.
