It’s funny, but birds often seem to carry little “Hello’s” from our lost ones. As I’ve often said “Time eases, but doesn’t erase” and it’s lovely to keep them in our hearts. It’s really nice that you have opened your heart to others. Will you share some pictures and stories about them with us in our Celebrate area? -

Christina, I am so sorry. It’s not been very long at all and I know you are in pain. Do you have other horses? Other animals? How are they adjusting? What type of horse was Cheyanne? Boy or girl? It looks like a lovely place to have spent a life, and clearly Cheyanne was loved and cared for and about. I’ll be thinking of you and hope you will check in with us so we can help support you.

Yes, I want to comment on Luna bug’s fur, too. Stunning. Love the colors, and stripes and spots. Was she a special breed? Christina, I doubt there is a pet lover here who doesn’t still miss their babies. You are among friends who understand that time eases, but doesn’t erase. I have always thought that joy shared is joy doubled, grief shared is grief halved. I hope it helps to have us to share with. Perhaps you will take some comfort from lending your own sympathy and understanding to others in our community. Toni -

I lost Baby Boy (dog) in 2016 and Sniffles (cat) in 2017. Both to cancer. I still miss them and love them so much. But I know they are still with me. They send Cardinals to say Hi sometimes. I’m doing good I have other fur kids who keep me busy

@izmmee2 Hi Missy. What a darling picture. Is that Skylar or Sassie? Did they live together with you, or at different times? How are you holding up?

That is Skylar, she passed away about 2 months ago. Sassie passed about 10 yrs ago. Yes they lived together for a few yrs. Im doing good.-
I’m glad to hear you are doing okay, Missy. Hopefully this new year will bring much happiness.

Talk about an ear to ear grin! That’s one happy pup. How old is Jax? If you have information about this breed in particular, such as personality traits, special dietary needs, etc., please share them with us. Thank you for the cheery picture-it makes me smile, too 🙂-
Jax is a 6 year old boston terrier. He is a sweet spoil boy. Great breed! Great with kids! He loves everyone!

Patricia – yes, thank you for the good wishes. I hope this New Year is much “softer” in all ways, if that makes sense. It’s been so harsh and with the loss of our beloveds, so, so sad. Here’s to happiness! -
