Oh, Angel, she looks so much like my old cat, Squirt, who dies years ago at nineteen. I will always think of her with total love, as you do, and will. At some point, the smiles come before the tears, don’t they? Please let us know how you are coming along, Angel. And..what was her name? -

Oh how awful, Beth. I am glad you have Sabrina and Libby, and wonder how they are doing with this? You extended the absolutely most loving and kind act you could by giving Harvey relief, and release, at the expense of your feelings ..and yes, this is the most distressing era for the world in a century, which doesn’t help…doggone it, Beth, I am just so sad and sorry about Harvey…. But I am glad you have Sabrina and Libby, and now – US! We are a caring community of pet and animal lovers, and we “get it”, and I am glad you are a part of us. Sending you a HUG… Toni -

Angela, keep writing your heartfelt, moving sentiments…it expresses the depth of your pain, but also your Love. I hope at some point the years of love and joy exceed the pain of parting.. Dear, dear Donna.. What a lovely, loving person you are to take in these kitties while you are suffering your own challenges. I think that is so loving and kind and generous of you. Obviously you know how to care for your faithful friends – 22 years is a long, nice life for a kitty. My oldest was 19. Please, Donna, share more of your stories with us, and do let our community know how we may be comforting.. Toni -

Oh dear, and Yes, Ruby’s furry friend is hurting, too. This is the tough part of sharing loving lives with our Faithful Friends who are only “on loan” to us, isn’t it? We know, intellectually, going in, when we bring them into out hearts and homes, that one day, we will have to part…But man – it hurts…a lot….But Andrea, were the years of Love, Joy, Sharing and Caring worth it? I suspect so ..and I expect that one day your smiles of memories will precede your tears . I hope so, and hope that you will continue to share your feelings – sad, happy – with us – and when you feel up to it, pictures and stories about your Boston Terrior. Name? Gender? Anything you would like to celebrate.. We’re here to support you, comfort you if we can, and share your sorrows and joys. Thank you for being a caring part of our community, Andrea. Oh Beth… I am heartbroken with, and for you..Harvey is so handsome and sweet…I have tears looking at his picture, which is so kind of you to share with us. My girl is going to be 17 (I hope she makes it – we’re treating a number of ailments), so please , will yo tell us how old was Harvey? What happened? And Beth, you are no doubt in pain, and we are here for you if we can help. Big HUG. Toni-
He was 11:and going to turn 12 June 30th. He stopped eating and blood work didn’t show a problem. Vet tried an anti nausea meds and appetite stimulator. He just got worse. He had lost alot of weight. They couldn’t tell me why ,so I had an appointment to get x-ray but you could bsee he was dying and that it was time to lethim go. I think I am having such a problem w it bc it happened so fast. Only 3 weeks ago he was fine. Also why did it have to happen during covid? I am sick of this pandemic and the masks. It is ball just too much. It is the first pet I have had to put down all alone. The good thing is I still have 2 other kitties at home. He has an older sister kitty named Sabrina and a younger kitty sister named Libby. I don’t know how I could survive this if he was my only cat.
