Those are great stories, Karla. Thanks for sharing them. Well…your husband could have planted a nice tree or rose bush for and Connor :-). I am glad you have fun and sweet memories of him and hope you will share your support with others who have lost, and miss, their beloved pets. -

Oh Linda, I am so sorry. Hopefully Noel is as comfortable as he can be. This is so hard – seeing them fail and die. Then the emptiness afterwards, and the grief. T

Oh Karla, of course you are heartbroken, and I suspect in tears coming from the depth of your soul. A sadness that radiates from deep within and engulfs your every breath. We are here for you, to understand and let you share your feelings., and when the day comes that you have smiles before your tears thinking of Connor, we want to share that with you, too. I am so very sad and sorry, Karla.-
The split picture is when he was a puppy and when he first started having hip problems and could only play ball a wee bit. His new hobby became digging holes. He was so proud of the massive hole he dug in one of the pictures I posted he could not wait to show me. I was impressed and praised him for his achievement. My husband did not find the beauty in it. He had to fill it in. Lol

My cat just explained to me why we keep pictures:
it’s history, memories, feelings, and love.
She likes to lick photographs, and we were just doing that, and I asked her why she does it. That was her explanation, which makes purrfect sense to me. -

I\’m sad to see so many white hairs in my girl\’s beautiful black fur, but hey, she\’s seventeen, and I have more white hairs , too, so I am happy she seems to be doing well, that her meds are working, and that we have each other 🙂 -

Tay, you make me smile, and your pictures and videos are precious. Sounds like you have a family of animal lovers, and I am so happy to have you with our community of like minded people. Prince is soooo handsome. What fun for them both to have each other. Ryu is going to be a great friend to you all, and to us. I just love them…… keep sending updates, please. I’ll be wondering what’s going on with them. Hugs. -

Tay, count me in with the other pets falling in love with Ryu – who wouldn’t? 🙂 Appetite seems good, and I think we all know a few “messy eaters”, eh? How old is Ryu now? And who is that beauty in grey and white with him? What a great story for us to follow. I am very interested in his progress, so thank you for sharing. And kudos to you for taking such wonderful, loving care of him…..-
Ryu is now 5 weeks old! A little on the small side but that’s not stopping him. That old man (who’s only 4 years old) is Prince. He’s a rescue from an old barn that, we believe, helped take care of his other siblings because he takes really well to new kittens and helps take care of them. He lives with my twin.-

Linda, is this Troy (Munchy)? What a handsome face. Did he have any greyhound in him? How old was Munchy? How long were you together. It doesn’t matter how long they’ve been gone from their bed, they are ALWAYS in our hearts.
