@janice Janice, I am sorry for your loss of Angel. I think she would send you this message:
We are all angels, but now I have wings
We play in the clouds and everyone sings
So don’t be unhappy, I’m always above
To shelter and guide you, and send you my LOVE
Janice, please tell us about your life with Angel, and share some pictures if you can. Let us know how you are doing. Okay I hope. Toni

@mommy2twins Hi Maryann, and welcome. Please tell us about Princess and Picasso. What kind of pets were they? Did they live with you at the same time? May we see some pictures of them? How are you doing?

No Valerie, oh no….How could someone do this? When I was eight my dog Moses was shot by a nasty neighbor and like Joe, he made it home but died. I am just heartbroken with you. Please tell us how you are coming along and how we might help you. I am giving you a huge HUG.

Margaret, I am sorry you face such a difficult decision. I know it hurts terribly to be parted. Since you have to find new homes, here is a useful resource: Go to the “Find Services” tab at the top of this page; enter your zip code; use the drop-down menu to find Rescues & Shelters in your area. If you need more help, let me know. And please let us know what happens with your babies. They will be matched with loving homes, I am sure. Sending you my best wishes.

@michellehb Hello Michelle. Welcome to our caring community. Will you tell us about Bella? What type of pet was she, how you met, how long you were together, and if you can, share pictures of her with us? How are you doing, Michelle?

Patricia, yes, that is understandable. I’m not sure the sadness of grief ever really leaves us, but I do think it gradually releases as the sweet memories of the joyful, loving times together become more frequent and prevalent. When smiles come before tears… Do you think so?

How nice of you to give your time and care to the shelter. It’s rewarding, isn’t it? Oh Boy! A puppy! You must send pictures of them as little one, and when you bring yours home. Corgi’s are so cute :-). I am happy for you.

Don’t feel guilty, Daniella. You did what was in her best interest and it is so kind of you to carry your love for her. Our community friend Chuck just posted photos of his new faithful friend, Dixie, and I have to say she reminds me of Sedona. Sedona is young and I suspect she is living a good life. Let us know what you are up to, and you may think about volunteering at a local shelter. Use our Find Services tab, enter your zip code , then the drop-down menu to find rescues & shelters in your area. Playing with the dogs, cleaning cages, walking them….you may find a lot of joy and fulfillment with that. Stay in touch. Hugs

Chuck! I am so glad to hear from you. I think of you and am delighted you opened your heart and home to Dixie. Oh my, what a little doll she is :-). That face! Daniella posted a picture of her Sedona, and I think Dixie and Sedona both have the sweetest little faces. I can’t say how happy I am to have you update us, Chuck. Dexter is always with you and I am sure he is delighted you are sharing your love with Dixie. Thank you for introducing her, and please yell us more, and share your adventures. By the way, how old is Dixie?

We are also a community that celebrates our pets who are still with us, and I certainly hope Sedona is still. I’m sorry you don’t know her status – was that part of your terms when you placed her with your friends? How old is Sedona now? What a difficult thing you had to do in her best interest. It takes a lot of love to think of our pets’ best interest first and always, but it’s an act of great love. I am sorry for your parting. I just adore this picture ๐Ÿ™‚ and thank you for sharing it with us.
                        • We were supposed to be able to know her status and possibly get her back once on our feet but they no longer correspond..I know she’s in a great home but we have so much guilt..she was 6 when we left so she’s 9 now..she was our precious baby but we had no choice under the circumstances..thank you for your support

Daniella, This is possibly my favorite photo ever….Please tell us about Sedona. Are you doing okay?
                              • Ah Thank you she was so beautiful. We are grieving even though as far as we know she hasn’t passed..we lived in Seattle but had to move to Vegas for family and we could not bring her so we adopted her into a friends home..we’ve lost touch with them so we don’t know how she is? Not knowing is worse then knowing if she passed etc..we miss her terribly and our hearts hurt without her.
