It is! It’s soft, and a fabulous quality. April took a photo of Lilly the dog and rendered her artistic interpretation to create that image, then I had it put on the throw. (It’s all in our SHOP if you want one of your pet/s). But, don’t you think my cat is adorable, too? 🙂 -

@dustyboots5 Lynda, clearly you are a pet lover: Toto, Hope and Daisy. I am very sorry for your losses. Did they live with you at the same times? What kind of pets were they? How are you doing?

They with me at the same time Toto was a rat terrier, Roxie was a Jack Russell terrier, and AMERICA’S Sweet Hope was a Boston, and Daisy was a Boston terrier. Hope died of cancer of the esophagus and stomach at 6 years of age she was a rescue from a puppy mill. Daisy died at 6 years of age thanks to Roundup weed killer another word she had cancer of the blood. Roxie died at the age of 24, in a friend’s home, because where I moved would only allow 1 dog and they knew I had 3, Toto was 11 when I had to re-home him, and he was moved to South Georgia.
I had a heart attack when Daisy died, she was my nurse, she let me know when I would go in AFib and when my sugar would drop. My rescue Boston now is Rambo, he was 10 months old when I saved him from a puppy mill. That’s a long story, but his nares were too small, and as you read love with stretch down his throat blocking his airway, so he had to have surgery right after I got him home he is now 11 years old and he is also my service dog he is a DAD, which means he is a diabetic alert dog he lets me know when my sugar drops in my sleep so now he’s rescuing me, God sends for angels to help us and I am blessed to have such a loyal faithful fur Angel.-

Don’t worry about a few typos. I have them more often than I like. Your stories are not too long – we want to know about your life with your pets. Service animals are magnificent, and I am glad you are sharing some information about them with us. We have a Paw’d Cast with the CEO of Canine Companions for Independence on our site (and wherever you listen to podcasts), and I wonder where you were paired with Rambo -did it happen to be CCI.org? If not, can you tell us more to help others? You are such a nice person to take in and care for so many pets. I am so sorry for the losses you have had, and wish you many more happy years with Rambo. Oh my goodness, Georgette, this is so sad. Did you inform the cat food company or FDA? What do they say? I adopted my cat when she was 13 (17 now) and she has a progressive inflammatory disease, but I don’t know what food/s she was eating before we met. How old was Krishna? May we see some pictures, please? Are you okay? I can understand how you might be angry. Let us know how we can help – we are very sorry…. -

I just have to share these cute pictures of my cat checking out the beautiful throw made by our weaving company. Our artist, April, made this image from a photo, then I had it made into a throw. Too cute 🙂-

Hi Lori 🙂 So glad to have an update from you. I know Snowball has been gone 5+ years but I also know we will always miss those we love, not that we are always in the throes of grief, in fact, at some point we dwell in the joyful memories, but I think we will always miss our beloveds. Have you brought any other pets into your home and heart? Can or would you consider volunteering at a shelter? It means a lot to hear from you, Lori. Do stay in touch. 2. Bunnies – How weird. When my Aunt died, it seemed as if bunnies came to her favorite places to mourn and celebrate her. Bunnies must be very sympathetic beings. How cool. I don’t doubt they are saluting Dale, and welcoming you.So Kathy, what’s next for you?
