• @robbi Robbi Ann, I am sorry for your loss of Mama G and am intrigued to know more about her, and see some pictures. Are you doing alright, Robbi Ann?

  • @grandmabear55 Hey Vickie, it seems you are a wonderful pet lover and I am sorry for your partings from Nikki, Lupo and Scruppie. What type of pets were they? How did you meet each of them? Do you have other pets now?

  • @nitenite Hi Jimmie. Wil you tell us about your pets, and let us know how you are doing?

  • @kygal603 Beethoven – what a grand name. Will you tell us about Beethoven and your lives together, Julie? We’d love to see photos, and hear all Beethoven. Are you doing okay?

    • Beethoven was on of my beloved dogs. A homeless guy gave him to me. Beethoven was outdoors with the homeless guy for a year. Very active puppy. I fell in love with him. He lived 12 years. He had seizures. He came and laid next to my bed and looked at me and died. I don’t know how to put his pic on here. Been atleast 3 years.
        • What a cool, sweet and touching story, Julie. Beethoven was so lucky to have had his former owner love him, and then have a life with you. Well done! And as much as it hurts to say goodbye, to have him be with you and let you know he was going is really very special. Wow. It’s super easy to post his picture/s: click the camera icon in the lower left of the “comment” box here, and upload them. We’d love to see those. And Julie, thank you for being such a kind and caring person ๐Ÿ™‚

          • That is boo I had him for 10 years but on Sept 10 he got out and went down by the side of the road and someone came speeding down the road and hit him and broke his neck 🥺they never slowed down. My mama had bought him for me when he was only 8weeks old. And on Sept the 20th my mom has been gone a year. I wouldn’t have made it this long without him. And now he is gone also

Oh, Shana, yes it does hurt that bad, and for as long as it takes you to move through the loss of his company and love. It hasn’t been that long for you and I hope you will allow yourself to also find smiles and joy when you think of Cooper. You might find help in healing with the book “Griffin’s Heart” (in our shop). It’s part journal, part the story of Reagan’s struggle to come to peace with the passing of her beloved Griffin. We are here for you to share with, and understand. Please let us know how you are coming along. Hugs.

              • Cooper was the greatest. I rescued him from the shelter when he was 2 and he was 13 when he passed. He was pug/beagle. He was my world. When he died in April it turned my world upside down. I cry everyday . I never imagined it would hurt this bad.

No words will ease your pain, but I hope you know we feel the depth and pain. With a long challenge such as lymphoma, the treatments and battles, it’s a combination of release and relief for you and Bruin. You’ve probably been grieving in anticipation every day, and in a way, the “pre-mourning” helped you with today’s reality. I’ve experienced this a few times and, while it hurts deeply, it was not unexpected, and there is comfort in knowing Bruin is at peace. When you feel like it, please share some of your stories about Bruin and your lives together. I am so very sorry and wish you the best. Toni
