She was a beautiful little apple head siamese I got her when she was 12 weeks old and recently lost her this past February 23rd at the age of 17 she had kidney failure 💔 😢

Lisa, I am so very sad and sorry. My 17 1/2 year old has failing kidneys, too, and you have really touched me with your story. It’s not uncommon in older cats, but it’s just so awful to say goodbye, whatever the reason. How wonderful for you both to have shared such a long, loving time. I hope you have smiles with her memories. Please let us know how you are coming along, and if you scroll through and read a post or two that touches you, your kind words of support and understanding will help another grieving pet parent. We’d love to see some pictures if you like. Sending you hugs……

Oh, Barbara, how completely generous and kind of you to open your home, and heart, to another little love. Sky is a wonderful name – lifts the spirit, doesn’t it? We’d love to see pictures of the blue spot and his eyes, and hear all about him. Of course Maverick is, and will always be, in your thoughts, your heart and I have to think would be thrilled for you to share your love and caring with another lucky one – don’t you think? You know, I see the resemblance – the smiles and happy faces. Was he the breed “Teddy”? I see the underbite, and know other “Teddy’s” . So doggone adorable. It’s just so hard, the parting. The tears come from somewhere we didn’t even know we had in us. I am so, so sorry for your having to say goodbye, and hope, know, you and “Bugs daddy” will find smiles with your memories one day, but it takes time. So please allow yourselves to grieve, and to share with us, and know Teddy Bugs would want you to be happy for your times together. You would want the same for him. Again, I am so very sorry, and so very happy you had such a meaningful love in your lives. Thank you again for sharing, and please, let us know how you are doing, and, if you get the tattoo, we absolutely want to see that. Hugs.-

Awwww… Martha, of course you are sad and in pain. What a darling Missy was, and what a sweet picture of her. It’s only been a few weeks and every little thing brings tears from a place deep within hat we didn’t even know existed – right? I am, we are all, so sorry, and hope you will allow yourself to find smiles with her memories soon. Please, let us know how you are doing, and thank you for being so kind and generous to share your own support with others. Teddy was his name and Bug was his nickname He came from a breeder that didn’t even name him. He was a blessing and his passing was unexpected. He loved his daddy more than anything ❤️

Mr. Bojangles: “After twenty years he still grieved”. I totally get it because my sister’s most wonderful boy died over 20 years ago, and while she would love to share the joy and love of another, she just can’t face the pain of parting. It’s such an individual situation and accommodation, and capacity, that you never know – one day a sweet little thing will come into your path, and Boom! there ya’ go again – into a loving, fun relationship to treasure. All of my loves are still with me in my thoughts and memories, and spirit, and I am joyful for my current old girl – she’s really filled me up (and is sitting here with me right now). So, I am sorry for your loss, and happy for your gift of sharing again. Thank you for sharing with us. If you read other posts here in our community that move you to share, I hope you will. And….we want to see pictures and hear stories about your lives together !! 🙂-
Thank you for sharing. My current fur baby has, recently, turned 3 years old. He’s so special to me. We’re so happy to have him in our lives.

What a cool, sweet and touching story, Julie. Beethoven was so lucky to have had his former owner love him, and then have a life with you. Well done! And as much as it hurts to say goodbye, to have him be with you and let you know he was going is really very special. Wow.
