Hi Christine. It’s easy to add candles: click our logo on the top left and add their names. I’m sorry to hear that Bubba and Sweetpea are also romping in the clouds, and if you would like to share photos of any or all your babies, we’d love to see them. -

Wow, Christine, you are clearly an animal lover very kind to share your home and heart with so many. It’s a sad fact that they are “only on loan” to us and it hurts deeply to say goodbye to any of them, regardless of their age or the amount of time we had together. We do have stronger attachments and understandings with some more than others, just as we do with humans, and I understand what an empty space is left when they leave. Reagan’s book – “Griffin’s Heart – was written because, although Reagan had and has other animals, her special attachment to Griffin made it very difficult for her, inspiring her to create a book/journal to help others move through their grief. (It’s in our Shop). You may find it helpful, as have others in our Community. Also helpful is sharing your own support and understanding with others here. That’s why Faithful Friends exists – to lend our help in a caring community that’s here to help us. I will be thinking of you and looking for more from you about how you are doing, and how your other little ones are bringing you joy and smiles, and love. Hugs…..OH! Sunny died in November 2018 he was my soul I had him for 14.5 years no matter what went on he was there for me as I was for him he was the most loving dog I ever had and I have had a few in my time I miss him with all my heart you looked into his eyes you could see the love he had he was very special to me and their won’t be another one like him and Tasha was a small 5 lb poodle she was my baby girl she was diagnosed being a liver shunt when she was only 1 they told me there was nothing they could do for her that she may only have a few years I fought with her to keep her healthy and was very expensive she lived a long life to the age of 13 she was in and out of the hospital though out her life but I kept fighting with her and for her no matter what she passed in Jan 2019 after she turned 13 she and sunny were my furbabies my kids I took their death really hard when they died a piece of me went with them I miss them a lot I do have other ones 6 of them they keep me company since my husband passed this March it’s been a lot that I went though I. The pass couple years but we’re making it though thank you for listening

Oh, what a long time you had together. That’s so hard, Vikki, because Jezebel went through so many ups, downs ,joys and tears with you, of course a huge part of your life is missing now. It hasn’t been very long since you parted and little things are probably triggering deep emotions. We wish they weren’t “on loan” to us, but are grateful for the time we had to love with them. I hope you find smiles before tears soon, and that you will let us know how you are doing. Hugs……. -

Hi. Thank you for your kind concern. My sweet Jezebel was 17yrs Black pug. I had her since she was a puppy. I am so lost without her. She passed this July 13th she would of been 18yrs July 17th.

Lisa, I am so very sad and sorry. My 17 1/2 year old has failing kidneys, too, and you have really touched me with your story. It’s not uncommon in older cats, but it’s just so awful to say goodbye, whatever the reason. How wonderful for you both to have shared such a long, loving time. I hope you have smiles with her memories. Please let us know how you are coming along, and if you scroll through and read a post or two that touches you, your kind words of support and understanding will help another grieving pet parent.
