Oh my gawd, Dianne. Have you been to a doctor? Geez….I am so sorry. Let us know how you are doing. A friend and neighbor of mine died tonight. Holidays make everything more intense. I hope you heal up okay. -

Hi Toni.I took a hard fall on Monday,and I have an L-1 compression fracture,but a hairline fracture in my lower back. -
Was this a second fall, Dianne? It must be contagious because I fractured my wrist Sunday!

How nice of you, Martha. I got the real cast today and am doing okay…just really angry at myself for being careless. It sounds as if Dianne’s injury is far worse and I hope she comes along well.

April was a sweet tricolor Chihuahua. She wasn’t quite 10 years. We lost our baby to metastatic lung cancer that actually started in her brain. We love her so much and will miss her terribly. Merry Christmas in heaven sweet April.

She’s pretty much blind now, so I suspect it’s the smells and textures. She rubs the tree branches and ribbon. She’s getting Catupuncture again today :-). It seems to be helping the blood flow to her kidneys. Send our best holiday wishes to Benny! -

Oh Glenda, how nice to hear from you again. And I am so sorry for your parting from Possum. You have loved and lost so many – Baby Blessing, Blackbeard, Company, ,Lucky, Winkin, Diablo, Pookie, Coon, Smokey, Miss Pepper, Kissingner, Bubbles, Tubby,, Thomas and Salt . And you are still a hero for keeping your heart and home open to LOVE even though we know we have to say goodbye sometime. Are any of them still with you? Who do you share love with now? What a sad thing it is, to lose a

Is she interested in the presents or the lights? Or both?! Benny is mesmerized by Christmas lights. -

I have tears looking at Scooter’s sweet face and understand how deeply you are grieving. I am so, so sorry Charmaine. It hasn’t been very long for you and holidays are filled with special memories that dig deep. I hope some of those memories bring you joy. You can cry with us any time. Please be in touch as often as you like, and share more pictures and memories of Scooter. You can create a Memorial for him if you think that will bring you some comfort. (Click the Memorials tab). She certainly was a beauty, Sheila. Yes, these darn holidays are extremely tough without our sweethearts, You and Paisley had such a special relationship, going through the moves and other challenging life circumstances that brought you so close together. I know you know, intellectually, what a wonderful life you shared, but emotionally, the sadness and not having her sitting with (and on) you is so very painful. I am sad with you. I hope you have some happy memories to comfort you. We’re here for you, Sheila. -

Debi, I truly understand. Several years ago, after a summertime loss, I was doing pretty well until Christmas came. I couldn’t stop crying, either. It’s tougher at the holidays and all you can do is allow your grief to flow. It’s terribly painful. I am so very sorry. I hope you find some happy memories come through, and find warmth and smiles.
