Hi Toni.Thank you for asking about me.I am doing better,day by day.My back doesn’t hurt as much as it had because I cannot do a lot of heavy lifting.Emotionally,I am slowly getting there. -
Well, you’re doing some heavy lifting, emotionally. I do think our internal pains make external ones harder, too. But I am delighted for your healing in both ways, Dianne. We know going in to pet relationships that one day we will have to part, and we are strong people who can work through that. But it sure hurts a lot getting there. Keep us posted, Honey.

Lori, it takes time to find smiles before tears. Even though we know in our heads our beloved pets are “only on loan” to us and we would not have wanted to miss our times together, in our hearts it hurts so much….I am deeply sad and sorry. We’re here for you. {{HUG}} -

Cindy, you touch me in many ways: Charlotte looks a bit like my girl who will be 18 in March. I know it’s so terribly gut wrenching to say goodbye, and that we also know, and are grateful for, the long time we had to share. I am personally so very grateful to you for sharing this, Cindy. And very, very sorry for your parting. Yes, Charlotte is woven into the fabric of your life and being, and cannot be forgotten, but must be celebrated! hopefully you are finding smiles before tears with her memories. I hope you will be an active member of our caring community, sharing your own sympathies and understanding with others, It means so much.
