Diane, I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a cat live to be 18. There is nothing more painful than losing a friend that you thought would be with you forever. I had another kitty. She was 16 when she passed. I was lonely. In time I got a little kitty that was thrown from a car. He is almost a year old. It was difficult to go through the baby stage….no became the only word I knew. . Well Frankie is a Siamese and very bullheaded.. he is getting older and learning his manners..I’ve always had girls…but a boy is a new experience…I think I’ve lost some hair. (Pulling it out) I have a cat that has the last word. Don’t feel bad, it takes time. ill always listen to you…take care.

    Christina, I want you to feel this hug..I am so sorry for you losing Rogue. There is nothing finer than the love of an animal, they never stay long enough.. I had a love affair with Mama Kitty, she was 18 when she passed. The next 6 months were ruff. My mom was 92 when she went to heaven…i had a stroke and Lulu was 16 when she passed. I was all alone. I did some looking on the internet and I found Lucy. The lady that rescued her loved her but locked her up in a little room. I rescued Lucy, she was two. I knew I would have many years with her. I didn’t have her a year. She passed away just when I started to know her..there I was again wanting to share my love with someone..months went by I refused to adopt another, it was tearing me apart…..well my friend called me to say, she just saw this kitty that was thrown from a car window and she was bringing him/her to me.. this was a Siamese with an attitude..but a kitten that needed to go to the vet…and needed love..today he has all his shots and is neutered. An indoor kitty. . His name is Frankie and he just turn 11 months…I found my companion…..life is funny at times..he makes me laugh and a good one to have a conversation with…he’s a little man now. Keep your chin up, you never know how life will turn out..leave your heart open…….. Brony

        Too cute, thanks for posting them. Frankie is doing fine. I think he is more active now. I read somewhere that a Siamese can live up to 20 years….so I’m blessed with him for awhile.. he will keep my body in motion..he flat out does what he wants, when he scratches on the couch i tell him no, he looks at me square in the eye and does it again…then he runs…he is something else. Enjoy your evening..mine will be active.:)

          October 4 last year I brought home three 5 week old kittens to foster. Four days later one boy and his sister died of Panleukopenia 💔💔The third kitten survived and is my darling Mac💜In November we welcomed Roni into our home and hearts👏💜🎉Here are some pictures from last October. Toni

          This is an update on Frankie. His surgery went well. I wasn’t. He went to the vet at 8am and was discharged at 4pm. A long time. But he’s home a little out of it, he doesn’t like being locked up with the door closed, but it’s for his own good. I will be sleeping on the floor tonight. Just to make sure, hope I can move after that. Well that’s about all I can report now. Take care

            Ellen I understand, the emptyness is overwhelming.. I had a calico (Lulu Mortimer Johnson) she was 16 when she died. That was 2 years ago. I will always have a place in my heart for her as will you with Angelina and her sister Lizzie.. they are chasing and playing with each other now and for eternity. .. I got another cat, well it was brought to me..he was thrown from a car when he was about 3 months old. I’ve had him a couple of months, he is Siamese, and I never liked them, but he has changed my mind, he is super intelligent. I wonder if he knows he is getting neutered in the morning? I hope he doesn’t hate me to much. Ellen you take care and know there is someone out there that feels your pain. Huge Hugs.

                Anyways,my daughter had been caring for Oscar and he had been showing signs he was ready to go.When my daughter to him to the vet,they gave him his sedative,but my daughter was holding Oscar in her arms,as his face was in her cheek,the vet didn\'t give him half of the second injection,as he purred,and he was gone.The vet told my daughter that Oscar was the oldest cat she had ever seen. When we moved to where I was living,in the three and a half years,his memory was fading.It was to where Oscar couldn\'t remember me,but I was just the nice lady who fed him,gave him water and scooped his litter box.He was forgetting to eat.He used to weigh about 15 pounds,but he was light as a feather.He was supposed to move up to Western New York with my family,but he couldn\'t have made a three day, 17 hour road trip.So I did some math in my head,and when I found him almost frozen to death on my porch back in 2007,he was an adult cat,maybe 7 years old.He wasn\'t a spring chicken.I am guessing he was way over 24 years old. My heart is really breaking because he took a huge piece of my heart with him.He was my best friend,and my constant companion.There will never be another cat like Oscar.I get his ashes back on Friday.

                Hi Toni, well the kitty that was thrown from a car and my friend brought him to me had a vet appointment in August, he is 5 months old, he for shots, which slowed him down for a day. He runs like a rocket thru the house ever since. He’s feeling fine until Sept 20th when he goes in to (shhhhh) get neutered. After that I am going to learn what’s it like to have a Siamese. I have learned already how intelligent he is also how stubborn. I wish you the best and I will keep you updated on Frankie and how he’s runs me ragged not to mention how costly it is to have a kitten

                    This is my baby Lukey I had to say goodbye to him on July 22nd 2024 because he got sick and I had to humanely euthanize him because he didn\'t need to suffer anymore. He was my baby and my best friend for the last 2 years and not a day goes by I have not cried. Love you Lukey and miss you so much RIP baby boy

                              Hi Toni and Maureen, this is Brony I have something to tell you 8 days ago my friend was driving home, out in the country, she almost ran over him/her. She arrived at my door with this little one. She said I had to take him/her cause he /she had nobody. She promised to take the kitty to the vet and get him/her fixed. Well the kitty is probably 2 and a half months. We have a vet appointment on August 16th and I paid the 85 dollar deposit. She was just skin and bones but the most intelligent eyes I’ve ever seen. I bought her kitten food and tossed the adult food that was upsetting her tummy. Her name is Frankie. I’m going to have to get her a friend cause she is wearing me out. I’ll get a picture soon.
