This is our Roo. I know everyone feels their furkids are special and the absolute best, and they’re right. My Roo is truly one of a kind💖
As a youngster he was so severely beaten that his rear left leg had to be amputated. It took a couple of months to finally welcome Roo into our family and our home. There were court battles to fight, ownership to be transferred to the authorities, meetings with the Attorney General, lawyers, press conferences, etc etc, it was a crazy time. We never gave up hope that, one day, this little guy who had the heart of Goliath and survived the horror inflicted on him, would eventually come home and be our furever kid💖 That was 8 years ago! Our Roo amazes us with his intense kindness and love. He should hate people, but he doesn’t. He wants everyone he meets to be his friend. This little Pit Bull is the epitome of what Pit Bulls are: kind, loving, loyal, forgiving, trusting, playful, silly, goofy … so very many amazing qualities. He’s actually taught me how to be a better human💖🐾💖 I love you Roo.
    • Wow! What a tough life he experienced when he was younger. He’s so lucky to have you now. I know others with pit bulls and they say similar things of theirs. kind, loving, loyal… thanks for sharing Judy. Welcome to the site!
      • Thank you so much Cody for your warm welcome. This is a wonderful place to come and honor our furkids, both living and those who have passed away…thank you for providing such a warm and inviting site💖🐾💖
        • Judy, Thank YOU for your open heart and mind, sharing your kindness and love with Roo, and with us. Your story is so touching and eloquently expressed, we are grateful to have you and Roo in our community – it’s all about love….the joys, fears, understanding, acceptance, and yes, the deep pain of loss when we part from a beloved pet/friend. It’s also about sharing – symptoms and what they might mean, treatments, and, importantly, extending sympathy and support when it’s most needed to our fellow community members and Faithful Friends. I hope to see more of Roo, and You here. Hugs to you both. Toni
