Christine, I was sick for a day after, but today is the fifth day and I am better – not purrrrfect, but better. I force myself not to think of her and that helps. I dedicate periods throughout the day to think of her and grieve, then do something to stay busy. We’re here for you so share with us as often as you need.
Christine, how are you doing now? Do you have someone with you, something to hold and pet?
Toni, I’m getting better. Spent some time looking through pictures I had of her. I realized that when I saw a picture of her and smiled and not teared up, things are going to be ok. My son and I have been talking about her and chuckling over her quirks. We plan on making a memorial collage for her and wants to put flowers on her grave. One day at a time, I guess. I hope you are doing better also.
