      Shawn, how long has Goofy been gone? He’s so cute, maybe someone took him home and he is having a good life. I hope that’s what happened, and you are right – we don’t know. That makes it even harder – wondering. Many years ago, I had a cat that went out and never came back. I still like to think she was “catnapped”. I am so sorry for all of your losses.💔Toni

        Shawn, Your mother gave her baby the kindest, most generous gift – a peaceful passing, as you did for your sweet Panda💔We promise to always do what is best for them, and you both honored your commitments. It’s devastating for us, but they are free of pain. I hope you and your mother can look back over the years you shared and find smiles in your memories of the many fun, funny and loving times you shared. You are both welcome to join our group meeting November 21st (7PM Eastern). The link is under the “Events” tab. {{BIG HUGS}} Toni

          I\’m doing this one for my moms little dog. She had to have him put to sleep this year. He was fine that morning. He went to sleep woke up didn\’t no where he was. He started that long stare. And he looked in pain. The vet said while asleep he had a stroke. It affected him memory. And he was developing canine dimension. He passed away in my moms arms. He was 16 years old. May he rest in peace. He\’s running over rainbow bridge with all the furbabies. And he\’s no longer in pain.

                My dog Panda developed breast cancer. And the last weekend of September first weekend of October that Saturday night She had a stroke. I had to help her up walk go outside eat. She could barely move. I had noticed it was getting hard for her to get up and move. So that Monday October 2nd 2023 I took her to vet and I had to make that unbearable decision to have her put to sleep. She passed away in my arms. Iv got her ashes. I miss her so much. May she rest in peace. And run free and no pain with the other furbabies.

                  Oh Karen, how awful💔Your shelter should work hard to keep them together, and find them a good home. Saying goodbye, for any reason, is devastating and I am so very sorry. You are welcome to join our group meeting November 21st to talk about Jojo and JG. Where are you located? Maybe someone in our community can adopt Jojo and JG! if you can, post their pictures, please. We’re thinking of you. Toni

                    Cheryl, When my BG died I felt the same way💔I hope it helps you to make yourself remember a fun or funny thing Sissy did, and that you allow yourself to smile with the memory. It’s good to cry – it releases toxins and feelings. Please, on Thursday Novemebr 21st, come to our group meeting. The link is under “Events” on the right side of this page. Until then, keep sharing with us – we’re here to support you. Sending you {{BIG HUGS}} Toni

                      I had to surrender my two girls due to eviction. Just broke my heart. I asked for them to be adopted together as they’re a bonded pair. Jojo was 17 at the time, and JG was 7.

                                What a darling picture. Are you sure she isn’t in a shelter or hospital? Was she chipped? Was she unwell? If so, she may well have gone off – some animals choose to pass alone. The not knowing what happpened is terrible – many years ago my Chivo went out, which she always did, and never came back. I called everywhere and posted pictures, but never saw her again. To this day I prefer to think she was picked up and kept by someone who was good to her. Whatever happened with your Chole, I am sorry for your loss and pain. How long were you together? How did you meet? Please, tell us more, and join our group meeting Thursday November 21st at 7PM Eastern. You are welcome to post here as often as you like. We’re here for you. Toni

                                      We lost our 13 year old girl, Shelby in the early hours of November 7, 2024. She was a great dog smart, fun, protective. She loved her cookies and her favorite thing was walks. She passed at home with her family. We love her and miss her so much. Our hearts are breaking

                                            Bambi, I am so sorry and know the pain is deep, and real. Grief is very personal and each of us heals in our time, in our own ways. There may always be a pang of sadness when you think of her or see her picture. One thing I encourage you to do is to recall a fun or funny moment with Baby Angel that makes you smile or laugh. It’s a way to honor your relationship, and remind you of the many reasons you opened your heart to her. You might also write a note that you think Baby Angel would write to you. Do you think she would want you to be happy for the life you shared? I suspect so. And write notes to her as a way to stay connected and let your love flow. Bambi, PLEASE come to our online group meeting Thursday November 21st at 7PM Eastern. We understand, and are here for you with kindness. Sending you big hugs {{Toni}}
