Missing my kitty boy Slick
He hid in our Xmas tree when we first got him-
What a darling picture of adorable Slick❤️I am so sorry, Melody. How did you meet? How long were you together? Did Slick have pet-mates or was he a loner? Please tell us about him, and your lives together. It’s always hard to say goodbye, and the holidays can bring up strong emotions. Shadow was a German Shepherd. She was the most lovable dog. My husband got her for me after I lost my other sweet dog. She was my constant companion. After my husband passed away I don’t know what I would have done without my Shadow. Shadow passed away July 24th 2024. I miss her so much.

Oh Robin, the hardest, kindest gesture we can make is to give our babies a peaceful passing so they are no longer suffering. I am so very sorry you had to make that decision for Fergus, and I hope you can find some comfort knowing that your selfless, generous act gave him release from his pain.💔

My sweet boy was 16, a month from turning 17 when he crossed rainbow bridge in February 2024. Copper has been with me through the loss of my Dad and my Grandparents. He has been by my side through every joy and heartbreak. He brought so much joy into my life, my most precious gift. Copper was my greatest hello and the hardest goodbye. He will be forever in my heart.

Our dear Fergus was our world for 5 years. Due to a spinal injury we had to make the painful decision to end his misery. We brought his ashes home .

Debbie, I am so sorry💔Yes, your pain is deep, and your life and home have changed. It hurts in ways nothing else can. We can crawl through this together. May I ask how long you and Buddy shared a loving, fun life together? How did you meet? Is your life better for having shared it with him? What do you think Buddy would want to say to you – perhap you can write a note TO you, FROM him, saying what you think he would want you to know. I suspect Buddy would be grateful for his life with you and want you to remember the many wonderful times you were so lucky to share. Our beloved babies are only on loan to us, never for long enough (forever wouldn’t be long enough), but we can actively recall the many joys we shared, and be happy to have shared our times together. Debbie, we have an online group meeting the third Thursday of each month at 7PM Eastern – Dec. 19th is our next one – and I hope you will join us to talk about Buddy. We are here for you. Toni -

Paula, I am so very sorry💔An unexpected death is shocking, and it is understandable to question what happened, and if or how you could have prevented it. Have you spoken with Scooter’s doctor? Was there an underlying cause? Eleven doesnn’t sound long to us, forever isnn’t long enough with our darlings, but perhaps that was Scooter’s time and he is now resting peacefully. We may never know the exact reason for Scooter leaving, but I hope that you try to find joy in remembering the many fun and loving times you were lucky to share with him.
