Oscar was a handsome fellow. He had a lot of different expressions, didn’t he? Thank you for sharing these sweet pictures with us. How long were you together? How did you meet? Maureen, you may ALWAYS light another candle for your baby. With the sadness, can you pull forth a good memory to remind you of the many reasons you opened your home, and heart, even though you knew one day you would have to part? I hope you can, and that you find some comfort knowing that you gave your sweetheart the best life. Sadness, especially at the holidays, is a part of loving and saying goodbye, I am so sorry. 💔Here is a {{BIG HUG} for you. Toni -

On December 22nd, 2024 my beautiful oldest cat puss puss crossed the rainbow Bridge unexpectedly.-
Angie, how awful to lose a beloved pet, but unexpectedly is so very difficult💔May I ask what happened if you feel like talking about it? If not now, whenever you do want to, we are here for you. I am truly sorry. Toni

I didn’t even know he was sick. But that day he started having seizures one right after the other. The last one around 5:50pm finally took his life. I wish I had been able to help him. I wish he was still here. This afternoon I took him to the funeral home to be cremated. I will be picking up his ashes on Jan 3rd. I miss him so much

It sounds as if Puss Puss had a great life until his last day.We are having our online group meeting January 16th and I hope you will join us – we support one another and share our grief, and healing, together. Dovie, Jake was so adorable and I am so very sad and sorry that you had to say goodbye to your dearest friend💔It IS heartbreaking to part, even though in our heads we know our pets are only “on loan” to us (never for long enough -forever wouldn’t be long enough). What a great life of love and fun you shared with Jake, saving him as a rescue. He could have had a very different life without you and your care. Dovie, may I encourage you to think of the many times you and Jake enjoyed? I hope you find some comfort in your memories. If he could write you a note, what do you think he would want you to know? I suspect Jake would send you his gratitude and LOVE, do you think? Please share more with us, and know we understand the pain, and the joys. I am sending you a heartfelt {{HUG}}. Toni -

Hello, I lost my sweet Jake August 12, 2024. He had just turned 14 on the 5th of August… He was a rescue at 7 months. I do sorely miss him with all my heart. He was registered as an emotional support dog, so he went everywhere with me. It has been heart breaking.-

💔Cathy, anniversaries, especially the first, bring up strong emotions, both heartbroken, and happy. I hope that you can bring forth memories of the better imes you shared with darling Lilly. Do you think she would want you to be happy for the life you shared? I do. How fortunate we are to have a love like this in our lives, all while knowing we will never have enough time together (forever wouldn’t be long enough).Cathy, please, tell us about Lilly and share anything you would like.
