💔Cathy, anniversaries, especially the first, bring up strong emotions, both heartbroken, and happy. I hope that you can bring forth memories of the better imes you shared with darling Lilly. Do you think she would want you to be happy for the life you shared? I do. How fortunate we are to have a love like this in our lives, all while knowing we will never have enough time together (forever wouldn’t be long enough).Cathy, please, tell us about Lilly and share anything you would like. Shelley, Yes, cancer sucks. I am so very sorry your beloved Archie had to experience that, especially at such a young age. (There is no good age for cancer).💔When did you say goodbye? How long were you together? How did you meet? How did Archie make your life better? Are you happy for the time you shared with Archie even though you said goodbye too soon? I hope so. We never have enough time together, forever wouldn’t be enough time, and I I hope you find comfort and peace knowing that Archie had the best life he could with you. Lisa, yes, the pain is almost unbearable, until you remember the many loving, fun and funny times you and Cosita shared, and why you opened your home and heart to Cosita – to give her a wonderful life filled with love and care. We wish they could be with us forever, but our beloved pets are only “on loan” to us and all we can do is make the most of every moment together. Please try to recall a few moments that bring you joy, as Cosita did every day. Tell us more about Cosita, share stories and pictures, and know that we care, and are here to support you. Toni -

Oh Diane💔The pain you are feeling is deep and I am so very sorry. Do you have someone with you? Do you have a toy with which you can cuddle? I found a stuffed toy to hold helped me. This is the hard part of loving – saying goodbye. Can you try to recall some of the fun, funny and loving times you and Smokey were lucky to share? Please tell us more about Smokey and the times you spent together. I think it helps to talk about the many wonderful moments that enriched your life by having Smokey in it. I just lost my Smokey yesterday. I\’m so heartbroken 💔-

Kathleen, How very hard to say goodbye to both of your babies this year💔Ouch. Moon and Lily were each gorgeous. Moon looks like my beloved, departed BG, and Lily looks like Boots. Isn’t it just a shame that our darlings cant’ be with us furever (forever wouldn’t be long enough), but isn’t it also grand that we got to share their lives with them? Missing my two 13 year old cats, Moon & Lily, who passed away this year. I brought Moon home at 3 mo old & Lily at 3 years old, both adopted from The Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago ❤️ 🐾-

I hope you can think of the many fun, funny and loving times together, and that you find some comfort in those memories.
