Christina, that is so hard, and I am so sorry. You endured Lucifer failing and I think that is just heartwrenching – seeing our darlings decline💔For me, when they find peace and releif from their suffering, it is a good thing for them. However, coming home to a house without our sweetheart is simply devastating. The pain of loss hits hard and deep. I hope that you will bring forth thoughts and memories of the many wonderful times you and Lucifer enjoyed, and that you find some comfort in knowing he had his best life with you, and is now out of pain. Please join our kind group Thursday February 20th to talk about Lucifer and your lives together. Toni

Deborah, I am so sorry. 💔I understand. My Prince was also 16 when we took him to the vet one night, and the next morning the vet called and told us that Prince had passed away. It is a terrible thing, losing our babies, but I think Daisy and Prince were at the time for them to go. I hope you can find some comfort thinking of the many good years of health Daisy enjoyed, and the fun, funny times you shared. Again, I am so osrry. Toni -

Daisy went to the vet for 2 tumors to be removed. The vet called and said Daisy had died during surgery. Not 30 minutes later he called back and said one of the girls saw the bag they had placed her in moving. We picked her up and brought her home and she was going outside to potty and eating and drinking then Friday she was acting like she was blind she stayed in hospital and passed away before they came in on Monday morning. We are so sad. She was 16 years old and the best dog ever-

Hi everyone. It’s been a while since I got to log on & read all the stories about the wonderful animals who have touched & enriched our lives. So sorry to all who have lost a pet – heartbreaking, I know. Just gotta find strength in the good memories & when you’re ready – save the life of another & make another best friend. Stay strong people & stay warm too. Weatherman says deep freeze coming next week for many of us. Snuggle your furry friends!

Randy!! It is SO GOOD to hear from you again🙌🤗Thank you for your, always, kind, encouraging thoughts. As someone who has lost so many and opened your home and heart again, you bring comfort to our community. How are Renzo and Rowan? We’d love to see some recent pictures of them now. Still adorable I suspect😎I am always delighted to hear from you, Randy, and send you and yours my very best wishes. Toni

Oh Lisa, what a beauty Miss Willow was. I am so osrry or your loss, and happy for the years of love and joy you were lucky to share together. Even though we know in our heads that our pets are only “on loan” to us, and that they lived their best life with us, saying goodbye hurts in a palce reserved for them and them alone💔I hope that you can pull forth some of the fun and funnt memories of Miss Willow, and that you find some comfort in them.

Shadoerae, you have had so much loss of those most dear to you, and in such a short time, it is understandably overwhelming💔I am so very sorry foryour pain, and extreme losses. Do you have family or friends to be with you? Who is the kitty in the picture with Echo? Our pets mourn the loss of their buddy, too, and I hope that yo are comforting each other. Please tell us more about Echo if you would like, and feel welcome to join our online group meeting Thursday February 20th at 7PM Eastern (4PM Pacific) to share more with us. You will find kind, understanding and supportive friends here, and in the meeting. I am sending you {{BIG HUGS}} and my deepest sympathy. Toni

Remember 1 year, 6 months agoMy beautiful Echo…she will forever be the light of my life. She crossed over on January 29th and my mom joined her on February 6th. I feel completely lost right now. Losing them both at the same time has left an emptiness that feels overwhelming. I\’d give the world to be able to hug them both and feel whole again.-

Thank you very much Tony.
Thankfully, I have an amazing husband who is the best support system I could ask for. Echo was our adventure pup. She loved being out in the woods and exploring new places. Sunday was always Echo day and we’d find different trails and parks to take her to. She was super sweet and loved every person and animal she came across. We found out in November that she had lymphoma. We tried chemo and her remission lasted 6 weeks. When we noticed her breathing change we decided to not let it progress any further. The thought of her suffering terrified me. Heaven at Home came out and she was able to cross over peacefully on her bed. The kitty was actually Echo’s best buddy, Bandit. He was a wild kitten that broke into our house. He instantly made friends with Echo and eventually warmed up to us. He’s been really sad since she’s been gone. He was right there with us when the vet was here. With the final shot his tail poofed up and he rubbed up against her a few times then left. I think he understands what happened in a way. He’s been snuggling with us some at night but spends most of his time sleeping on her bed like he always did. I would love to join a meeting but it won’t be this one. The 20th is my mom’s birthday and we’re going to spend the evening with my dad so he’s not alone. Thank you again for your kind words. ❤️
