My boyfriend passed away on Thanksgiving, and I took in his 13 yr old Golden Retriever, She seemed healthy to me. but that started to change in Feb. The vet said he has hemangiosarcoma, an gave him 2 wks to 3 months. He went downhill fast and 3 weeks later passed away. I felt like I lost my connection to my boyfriend,and hit with 3 loses so close together. Just a great all around dog. He did great for a month , then loss his appetite and had diarrhea, I thought he was missing his owner, but found out he as hemaniosarcoma. I am so depressed. The vet said 2 wks to 2 months. I can see he is deteriorating fast. I am up all nite checking on him , and making sure he is OK. Mentally taking a toll.

It has gotten a little better, but not a day goes by that I dont think of her. Some memories bring tears, and some bring smiles. It was time to let her go. It is so quiet in the house, and so lonely. I think I still hear her at nite. So hard.
