I will certainly consider joining the group meeting on the 16th. I’m not sure I can even talk about all of this yet as I am such an emotional wreck. Perhaps participating by listening and finding my way into being comfortable enough to join in will help. Thank you Toni for you kindness and compassion.

    A year and a half ago, I moved from New England to Oklahoma and brought two cats with me. I was unable to have dogs in the apartment I was in. After getting here I contacted a rescue and adopted my Jack. Jack Sparrow to be exact. He was so handsome and such a special personality. We bonded in a way that I have never experienced before. Fast forward to a week and a half ago, my Jack was hit by a car and killed. I am beyond devastated and having an extremely hard time coping with the loss. More so than any of my previous fur babies. I loved Jack his whole life and I will miss him for the rest of mine.
