On November 8th I had to make one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. Woke up that morning and our little chihuahua wasn’t acting like herself and was getting sick and started coughing up blood and was having trouble breathing. Called our vet and they said bring her right in. Got there and went in to see the veterinarian and she looked at her and that’s when it turned to the worst day. She told me that my Maggie May was in congestive heart failure and had to decide if I wanted to have go through a bunch of text or let go to sleep. I called my husband who was working and we both said we didn’t want her to suffer and made the choice to let them put her to sleep. It was just as hard as it was when I lost my baby daughter in 1984 to S.I.D’s at a month old. I know in my heart that my fur baby is not in pain anymore and running and playing with all the other fur babies up there. We got her at 8wks old and she crossed the rainbow bridge at 12yrs old. Love and miss you Maggie May.</span>
