									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I recently had to help a dear friend put her dog to sleep. It brought back all those awful memories of when I had to do the same for my Jack. It was and is the most difficult decision I&#8217;ve ever had to make. We both cried.</p>

					<span>Layla was a Shetland Sheepdog. Never left my side. She died when she was 12. Jack was a Yorkshire Terrier, Silky Terrier mix. He looked mostly yorkie.  He died a hair over a year ago this month. I swear I still hear him and feel him on my bed. I still haven&#8217;t been able to get another dog yet. Someday. Jack will let me know.</span>
