Thank you for your kind greetings. He is really sweet and I can’t believe he is with me, it happened so fast. This handsome boy is about ten and what a difference it makes from a youngster – nice energy but not “off the rails kittenhood”, you know? He seems to be comfortable with me. He came from a small, sterile apartment and now lives in a roomy home with lots of soft, squishy surffaces made for a kitty. In fact, I think my whole life and household are built around pets. That’s a good thing. I will update about Walter/Wonder from time to time. Please, you all update us here, too, and share your own stories and feelings. I am so happy to be a part of this kind, caring, understanding group. HUGE HUGS all around! Toni

Big News (and a huge surprise)!! I always say the universe hears us, and look what it delivered to me! This sweet ten year old boy was recently orphaned when his human died and he is now living with me. I am delighted and hope he feels the same :-). He needs lots of attention and lets me brush him, he sits with me, talks to me, and follows me. We\'re seeing the vet tomorrow for a full physical and a \'caticure - his claws are really long and he doesn\'t want me to clip them just yet. I wasn\'t expecting to meet \"Walter\" - I think I\'ll call him Wonder - and I feel so grateful and happy to have a new love in my home and life. I\'ll keep ypu posted about Wonder (what do you think of that name?). And please, let us know how you are doing. Toni

it is with a very heavy heart that I write that my beloved Kissinger has passed away. I knew he didn’t act like he felt good on Wednesday. He always had to be touching me in some way wither it be a paw on me or his head on my knee, but Wednesday he laid his little head in my hand and slept. On Thursday morning he passed away and I am completely lost. He was 15 years old but his passing was so sudden, it has caught me off-guard. He is buried next to where I park my car so that he can still greet me when I come home. I know he is with Bubbles, Baby Blessing, Blackbeard and all the rest of my precious sweet kitties that have gone over the Rainbow Bridge. I still have 3 that I have to keep going on for…. Thomas, Tubby and Salt but it sure is hard.

It’s been a while since I have been here, but I always read the newsletter you send. Yesterday my beloved Bubbles passed away. After 17 years of being together, I am lost. She never acted sick or like she was in pain. She was always running from one end of the house to another, jumping up the air and turning around. I always said she acted more like a kitten than a17 year cat. She loved to eat…pickles, onions, tomatoes plus her regular cat food. My cats have never tried to steal food from me but if something fell in the floor Bubbles would have it eaten before it hit. It will take a while before I get used to her not being here. She was always waiting for me when I opened the door and would look at me lovingly when I kissed her bye on the way out. I am deeply heartbroken.
