I’ve been trying to avoid letting my last fur baby leave me, since I lost my husband last April, Karma in May & Jasper in October; I just can’t be alone. Buddy has also been ill, but not as far along as J was, & medicine seems to be helping.
I told him to let me know when he was ready to cross over, but it couldn’t be by having me hold & cuddle him like Karma did. I told him to bite me, not break skin, but bite me hard enough to get my attention (I know that sounds weird, but after losing so many close loves, I need to make sure I’m doing what he wants) He has been vomiting more (volume) this past week. So last night he attacked my arm/hand. Out of the blue, didn’t touch him or try to pet him or anything else to annoy; we were just settling down to sleep. He is acting a little differently today, but I’m not sure if I should call the vet or wait…any advise would be appreciated. I don’t want to be selfish & make him stay if he’s in pain, but I also don’t want to send him off for an unnecessary feeling.
