Losing a Pet

Losing a pet is just as heartbreaking as that of a best friend. And all too often, we are challenged to find a proper way to honor their memory. After suffering the loss of our dear dachshund, Silke, we set out to create one and give others the peace we were so desperately seeking.

It’s okay to grieve.

After losing a pet, we owe ourselves the permission to mourn the loss just as we would a person. How and when you grieve is a personal decision, but we recommend setting aside a time each day to remember and process your emotions. Take the time to remember your best friend before deciding what to do with pet ashes.

You are not alone. Our blog is home to a wide array of pet loss resources.

Designed with love.

Losing a pet leaves you at a loss, wondering what to do with pet ashes. As we considered burial options for our Silke, we were shocked to find that spreading her ashes would be harmful to surrounding plant life. It was then that we decided to create a completely organic mixture that would offset the natural toxicity of ashes from pet cremation and create a beautiful, flourishing reminder of our furry friends.
