We saw daily the bond between theese two!
Brothers would be an apt description. There wa nothing like watching Shiloh when he had that working vest on ... He just carried himself as if to say "I'd love to play but I'm on duty ... and loving it!"
Eric, don't even try to replace him. It can't be done. At some point you may want to get another companion and you will know when that time is.
Until then "A toast to the BIG DOG ...
May God rest his soul.

As a Managing Partner of Faithful Friends.com, and on behalf of the team who so devotedly support our efforts, please accept our condolences, and our congratulations. Your tribute to Shiloh is both touching and charming, just as Shiloh must have been, and as you certainly seem to be. We created Faithful Friends to help celebrate and remember our furry friends, and to support their loving families when the time comes to say goodbye. Joy shared is joy doubled, grief shared is grief halved. Please let us know if, or how, we might assist you. Thank you for sharing such a lovely remembrance.

Both you and Shiloh are lucky to hve found each other! As he passes over the rainbow bridge, I'm sure that he thanks you for your unconditional love. Moreover, his spirit will continue to warm your heart and provide rarely known eternal companionship.

I will miss that grinning face when I come down to visit Shiloh's humans. He was such a sweet and loving dog to me whenever I arrived for a visit. And it's true, wherever we went, Shiloh was the center of the universe! RIP dear Shiloh!

Wonderful tribute to a loving, beautiful almost human. One could not ask more of anyone or expect more. What a wonder he was.

What a beautiful tribute to an even more beautiful dog, Erik. I was proud to know him these many years and will never forget the first time I met him and how he walked under your wheel chair like that was the place he was born to be. I'll also never forget how he used to pull you across parking lots at a full gallop; muscles coiling, legs flying and a happy smile on his face. I've known you for almost 20 years and most of them is with this magnificent being by your side. He will be truly missed by everyone that knew him and I feel privileged to be a person on that list. Never was a dog more loyal, more steadfast and more needed than Shiloh. Huge hugs to you and Leslie and give Reilly some sloppy kisses from me too. Sofie gets a polite scratch on the noggin as we've never really met. :p Love you guys!
